A close-knit, international school family
Stronger Together
The Dutch School is more than a school, it's a community. Parents, students, and team members together form a close-knit group where everyone knows and supports each other.
Every morning, coffee and tea are ready for parents, so after dropping off the children there is space to meet, catch up, and make new connections. This is how we foster a warm and connected school community in which parents easily find one another.
The school is an association, which means that all parents automatically become members of the school community. As members, parents have voting rights and actively help shape the school's future. An engaged board, made up of parents, oversees the running of the school and supports the direction and continuity of the organization.
Twice a year we organize a General Members' Meeting (ALV), in which parents are kept up to date on developments within the school and can vote on important topics such as budgets, annual plans, and other policy choices. Together we build a strong, transparent, and engaged school community.
