Skills Club
Activities during school hours for broad development
More than cognitive learning
The Skills Club offers, twice a week during school hours and as part of the learning program, a rich variety of activities. Students discover and develop their talents, practical skills, creativity, and social competencies in an inspiring environment in which joy and engagement take center stage.
Skills Club
Twice a week, our students close their school day with something special: the Skills Club. During these afternoons, children get the chance to discover their talents, develop new skills, and most of all to learn with joy.
The Skills Clubs offer a wide range of activities, from art, music, and sport to woodworking and gardening. By learning with their hands, heart, and head, students discover where their strength lies and dare to take on new challenges. The emphasis is not on grades or performance, but on personal growth, creativity, and collaboration.
Within the clubs, students learn skills that reach beyond the classroom: perseverance, responsibility, communication, and self-confidence. Step by step, they develop the executive functions and social skills that help them stand independently, resiliently, and curiously in life.
The Skills Clubs are led by trusted consultants and experienced experts who love to share their passion with the children. This way, we offer an inspiring learning environment in which every child has the space to grow, in their own way.
At the Dutch School, we believe that learning goes beyond books and tests. In the Skills Club, students discover what they can do, what they enjoy, and who they want to become.
